Aluminium Ingot
Casting Machines

Our aluminium ingot casting machines were developed in our own foundry to give trouble-free alloy production

Metal is poured from the furnace, via a launder, into the pouring system.  The pouring system has been designed to minimise dross formation.  This ensures that the ingots produced are of the highest quality.  The adjustable speed control system allows the volume of metal poured into each mould to be accurately controlled.  This will give you ingots of consistent weight and dimensions.  The filled moulds travel up the casting machine incline, where the ingots cool and solidify.

As the moulds pass over the head sprockets, they insert, allowing the ingots to fall – assisted by two hammers.

We produce a range of standard models for deoxidant cones, half balls, cubes, pyramids and bar.  And we have developed a machine for the production of quality aluminium granules without tails.

Higher production units and bespoke casting solutions can be supplied to meet customer needs.  So please contact us with your requirements.

The McIntyre Range

Shark

The Shark is an efficient, compact casting machine with the ability to provide good quality ingots in numerous shapes and sizes according to customer requirements. It’s also ideal for smaller spaced operations!

Orca

The Orca is one of the most popular machines in our range with many examples working in the field worldwide.  A compact heavy-duty system engineered for consistent, high quality ingot production.

Dolphin

The Dolphin is another rugged, reliable and compact casting machine but with increased production capacity. It’s capable of producing a range of ingot shapes and sizes according to customer request.

Leviathan

A reliable casting machine engineered for continuous and heavy-duty production, suitable for larger scale processing operations. There is a Leviathan Casting Machine to produce every ingot type.

McIntyre Colossus Casting Machine

The McIntyre Colossus Ingot Casting Machine is engineered for high-volume smelting and processing operations, and typically configured for long bar ingots with the option for custom mould designs. The Production rate is approx. 11-12 tonnes per hour with approx. 260 moulds.

This casting machine model has been manufactured for well established international operations, alongside full commissioning, training and support packages. JMC Recycling ensures that your system is installed and operating from day one to help exceed your processing expectations.

McIntyre Centaur Pellet Table

This McIntyre Centaur Pellet Table is a market-leading system for producing aluminium granules, primarily used for the deoxidation of refined steel products.

Key Benefits Include:

Produces uniform aluminium granules with no tails

Up to 500 kg (1100 lb) an hour of production per table

System scales easily for higher production rate – up to three tables (1500 kg/h / 3300 lb/h)

Designed and developed in our own foundries

Easy to maintain and use
